YOUTH FIELD HOCKEY PROGRAMS
Legends Rec League
Players will compete in the Ann Arbor Rec & Ed League in this 5-week program designed for beginners and experienced players alike. Games are played through Ann Arbor Rec & Ed, typically on Weekends. Full schedules will be sent once league details are finalized closer to that start of the season. Required equipment: Water, shin guards, mouth guard, shoes appropriate for turf (no cleats), and a field hockey stick (available to borrow as needed). A GLRFH pinnie is needed for practice and a shirt will be issued for games.
K-8 Skills
Our coed spring field hockey program is open to players ages 5–13 of all skill levels. Whether you’re brand new or have experience, we focus on building skills in a fun, supportive environment. During this 5-week program, players will develop fundamentals like passing, shooting, and stick handling while enjoying the game and making friends. Required equipment: mouth guard, shin guards, water bottle, and stick (sticks available to borrow as needed). Players must also purchase a GLRFH pinnie at checkout if they do not already have one.
Boys Field Hockey
Are you ready to try a new sport? Field hockey is the dynamic, fast-paced challenge you’ve been looking for. Be a pioneer in the community and join GLRFH to learn more about this global men's sport. All ages and abilities are welcome. Come once or for all 5 sessions. Mouthguard, shin guards, and water are required. Sticks are available to borrow.
Spring Goalie Training
Calling all field hockey goal keepers! Join our 5-week program this spring to learn and develop your goalie skills. You will work with one of our experienced goalie coaches in a positive and engaging environment. All ages welcome. Personal equipment is required.
