Coed K-8 Skills

Perfect for players ages 5–10 who are newer to the sport! This five-week program focuses on teaching the fundamentals of field hockey—including stick handling, passing, shooting, and game basics—in a fun, encouraging environment. No previous experience is necessary, and sticks are available to borrow.
Boys Field Hockey

Field hockey isn't just for girls! This program is open to boys of all ages and skill levels who want to try a fast-paced, exciting sport. Whether you attend one session or all five, this is a great opportunity to learn the game, improve athletic skills, and help grow boys field hockey in Michigan.
Rec Field Hockey (Grades 3 - 6)

📍 Location: Legacy Center Field House
Ready to play in games? Our recreational team practices each Monday at Legacy before competing in the Ann Arbor Rec & Ed Field Hockey League, with games typically played on Sundays at Pioneer High School (full game schedule provided closer to season start). This program is great for both newer players and those looking for more game experience while continuing to develop their skills.
Middle School Skills

Designed for middle school players looking to improve their game, this five-week program focuses on stick skills, passing and receiving, shooting, decision-making, and gameplay through fun, challenging drills. Previous experience is recommended, but motivated new players are welcome.

Designed specifically for goalkeepers, these training sessions focus on developing the fundamental skills needed to succeed in the cage. Work with experienced goalkeeper coaches to improve positioning, footwork, kicking, clearing, communication, and game awareness while taking your game to the next level. -
Indoor Skills
Stay sharp all winter long! Indoor field hockey is played on the indoor courts using indoor rules and requires an indoor field hockey stick. Players will develop indoor-specific skills, quick decision-making, ball control, passing, and game awareness in a fast-paced environment.Indoor League
Continue competing throughout the winter in our Indoor League! Players will apply their indoor field hockey skills in game situations while enjoying a fun and competitive atmosphere. This league is a great way to gain experience and stay active during the offseason.“Outdoor” Skills
